Uttar Pradesh Kanya Sumangala Yojana Eligibility

- The recipient must be a Uttar Pradesh permanent resident.
- The program may only assist two girls in a single-parent household.
- The maximum income for a family should be Rs. 3 lakhs.

- The third girl child in any household with twin daughters will be eligible for admission as well.
Kanya Sumangala Yojana Benefits
Previously UP Government was providing only 15000 rupees as a benefit amount but it has recently been updated and now the Uttar Pradesh State Government is providing the recipient a total of Rs. 25,000 in a total of six installments. Every time, the beneficiary female child would get the right amount. The following is the structure for money distribution that you should be aware of:
- If a girl child born on or before 1 April 2015 will get Rs. 5000 in the first phase.
- First-year post-vaccination girl child will receive Rs. 2000 in the second phase.
- When a girl child gets admission to the first standard, the government will pay Rs. 3,000.
- When a girl child is admitted into the sixth standard, the government pay Rs. 3,000.
- Rs. 5,000 will be paid upon the girl child’s ninth-grade admission.
- Once the girl has been accepted into a bachelor’s program after passing the 10th and 12th grades Rs. 7000 will pay by the government.
Disbursement of the Kanya Sumangala Benefit
The Kanya Sumangala Yojana would fall under six phases which is described below. The following criteria are used to classify beneficiaries and provide payments to them:
