Eligibility to Join Territorial Army as An Officer
To apply for the TA Army Recruitment 2024 and to get selected as a Territorial Army Officer, candidates are required to fulfil the following eligibility criteria. You will not be eligible to apply for TA Army 2024 Recruitment if even one of these eligibility criteria is not fulfilled.
- Citizenship: Indian Citizens are eligible to apply.
- Age: Only 18 to 42 years old individuals can apply.
- Gender: Male and female applicants both are eligible to apply.
- Physical & Medical Standard: Physically and medically fit individuals are eligible to apply.
- Education: Any candidate who are graduate of Cyber Security and Technology Computer Science is eligible to apply.
- Experience: Applicant should have at least 3 years of core experience in Penetration Testing /CHE/ Cyber Security with a reputed organization or as an independent consult or must be a founder of a cyber security organization. Apart from this if a candidate has a minimum of 3 letters of recommendation from a NAAC “A” recognized organization that deals in cyber security.
- Skills: Expert in Programming language and should have functional knowledge of Hacking Forensics.
TA Army Recruitment 2024 TAO Selection Process
The selection process will be completed in four phases which include different rounds to find the eligible candidates for the post of Territorial Army Officer in the Indian Territorial Army. Check the below points to get the details.
- Document Check: In the first phase of the selection process the documents will be checked by all the applicants. In this, a merit list will be prepared which will be based on the qualifications of the candidates and shortlisted candidates will be invited for the written test.
- Written Test: In the second round, candidates will have to take a written test which will be for 100 marks and candidates will have to score at least 60% marks to participate in the next round.
- Practical Test: The third round will be the practical test in which the skills of the candidates will be evaluated, and the qualified candidates will be taken to the fourth stage.
- Interview: In the fourth or last stage of the selection, candidates will have to go through the Interview which will be taken by the Board of Officers at the Directorate General of Territorial Army.
