Benefits of the Krishak Bandhu Program

This initiative offers financial support for agricultural processes up to Rs 10,000 annually, with a starting payment of Rs 4000. Equal distribution of this aid is made during the Rabi and Kharif crop seasons.

Owners of at least one acre of agricultural land are eligible to receive Rs 10,000 every year. Proportional assistance is available to those with less than one acre of farmable land, with a guaranteed minimum benefit of Rs 4000.

Additionally, the state government provides a lump sum cash payment of Rs 2 lakh as part of the “Krishak Bandhu Death Benefit” facility to the family of a deceased farmer aged between 18 to 60 years as social security for the rest of the Family. If a farmer dies under the Krishak Bandhu Scheme and is between the ages of 18 and 60, the farmer’s family additionally receives a lump sum payout of 2 lakh rupees.
